Dr. Sarah Proulx, AuD, CCC-A, Doctor of Audiology, is the Director of Center for Better Hearing, LLC in Cromwell. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Connecticut in 2006 and continued at the University to receive her Doctorate of Audiology in May of 2010. Throughout her graduate career, Dr. Proulx had a variety of clinical experiences including an externship and an audiology assistant position at Center for Better Hearing, LLC. Dr. Proulx spent her clinical residency year at Boston Medical Center, where she worked with a diverse patient population in both diagnostic and rehabilitative capacities. Dr. Proulx provides services to patients in Cromwell offices. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. Her experience, knowledge, professionalism, and personality are great assets to Center for Better Hearing, LLC.
Megan Blanchette Au.D., CCC-A

Dr. Megan Blanchette, Doctor of Audiology, graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Doctorate in Audiology in 2010 and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Connecticut in 2006. Dr. Blanchette currently serves as the chairperson for the Connecticut Academy of Audiology annual conference and was a board member on the national Student Academy of Audiology. Dr. Blanchette provides services to patients in the Cromwell offices. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. Dr. Blanchette’s passion for audiology coupled with her expertise in rehabilitation make her a wonderful addition to Center for Better Hearing, LLC.
Nancy Carney McMahon, AuD, CCC-A

Nancy C. McMahon, AuD, CCC-A, Doctor of Audiology, is the owner of Center for Better Hearing, LLC in Cromwell. A graduate of the University of Connecticut, 1985 and Central Michigan University, 2006, Dr. McMahon has been a licensed and practicing audiologist for over 33 years. She is currently a full-time faculty member at the University of Connecticut in Storrs in the department of Speech, Language and Hearing Science. Her diagnostic expertise and experience with hearing aids is respected and valued by the medical professionals and patients who have worked with her over the years. Dr. McMahon is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association, where she works on several boards at the national level. Dr. McMahon specializes in the business of audiology, diagnostics, amplification, and aural rehabilitation.
Doreen Appleby, Office Manager
Doreen has been with Center for Better Hearing, LLC for over 15 years. She is your first contact when you call Center for Better Hearing, LLC for your appointment. She will arrange your appointment and ensure you have directions to our office. She will be available to assist you with any questions you may have regarding insurance.
